How I Think
Paul Rand said it best: Design is so simple, that is why it is so
complicated. Making it simple or complex, but never complicated,
great graphic design needs to be easily understood and unique
in its solution. A strong message can create an impact within the
viewer that's as powerful as the visual imagery itself. Therefore,
the solution should be beautiful in the eye and mind of the beholder.
What I Do
Mattias designs and collaborates with clients across many forms
of visual communications including, but not limited to, identity and
logo design, posters, packaging, brochures, environmental design,
book covers, web sites, editorial design, and illustration. He recently
completed a personal goal by creating a blog for one year called
Somethink Fun. The effort was to post something unique and fun
(almost) every day to strengthen his creative problem-solving skills.
